Morsi Foundation for Democracy is monitoring the ongoing unrest in Bangladesh which has been continuing for several days amid legitimate demands from the student movement.
The Foundation condemns the violations against peaceful demonstrators and the escalating acts of violence in the country, as well as the decision to implement a comprehensive curfew and the ban of freedom of demonstration, in addition to the run-overs commited by the security forces against protesters in the country.
We express fears of an escalation of chaos, repression and more bloodshed after the death toll among protestors rose up to 105 citizen.
