Türkiye's elections… Voting continues in the second round of the presidential elections

Polling stations opened across Turkey on Sunday morning for a crucial second round of the presidential elections that will decide the next president.

Turkish voters began the voting process, which continues until five o’clock in the evening, in all Turkish states, at border crossings and airports.

In this second round, the candidate for the Public’s Alliance, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and the candidate for the People’s Alliance, the leader of the Republican People’s Party, Kamal Kilicdaroglu, are competing.

The position of President of the Republic will be won by the candidate who receives the majority of votes, noting that Turkey is witnessing the organization of the second round for the first time in its history after the failure of any of the candidates to obtain 50% + 1 in the first round.
