The Morsi Foundation for Democracy condemns the unfair and politicized decisions issued by judicial bodies against leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood, headed by the General Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Badie and figures who reject the military coup, by referring their papers to the Mufti in preparation for the issuance of death sentences in one of the cases related to the right to demonstrate and sit-in, known in the media as “the events of the platform”.
The Foundation confirms that those decisions submitted to the Egyptian “Dar Al-Ifta” are retaliatory decisions within the framework of unfair practices against political detainees since the coup d’état of July 3, 2013 until now.
