It does not represent the people… the murderers and the putschists.
In a shameful and inexpressive scene for the Arab people, the Arab Summit held in its thirty-second regular session in the Saudi city of Jeddah came out in a way that does not represent the will of the Arab peoples and their aspirations for unity, freedom, independence, democracy, justice, human rights and development that guarantee a decent life.
Where the summit was held in abnormal political and economic circumstances that the Arab world and the whole world are going through.
It was a shame that a number of figures involved in killing and oppression participated in order to be presented as leaders of their countries, who are in fact war leaders, war criminals, and killers, headed by the Syrian war criminal Bashar al-Assad, who has lost both domestic and international legitimacy, and he had lost legitimacy in the Arab League before he was recycled again in the trash of history.
In addition to a number of putschists, murderers, and thugs who turned against the will of their people, and came to rule by force of arms and external support.
All this is under the misused slogan of “Arab reconciliation”.
Arab reconciliation is a popular demand that would be achieved directly if the homelands were represented by elected rulers who express their people and not gangs of mercenaries and beneficiaries looking to continue in their positions for decades.
Reconciliation and Arab unity is a popular choice that cannot be mistaken by an elected ruler who knows the will of his people and knows that he will be held accountable for it democratically.
Therefore, the occupier and the colonizer have always sought, and for a long time in this region, to preserve the tyrannical rulers in their positions, to achieve their interests, and to separate the peoples from their lofty goal, which is union and liberation.
The Arab League, which wrote its death certificate a decade ago, has not and will never be a lever for any comprehensive pact that unites this nation as long as it is based on recognizing criminals, coup plotters, and dictators as leaders and rulers of their countries, and they do not, in fact, represent those countries or these peoples.
The first file that must be presented and discussed in the Arab World before any other file or existing crisis is the file of democracy and freedom, and then the independence of the people’s will and the choice of who represents their common destiny
and this will not be made by rulers who usurped power and killed their people and did not come to rule through the ballot boxes, but rather through military force and foreign support, and that is on the remains of their people, so they turned the ballot boxes into death boxes and the will of the peoples into occupation by proxy, so they lost the cause of Palestine, divided the homelands, subjected it to hegemony, destroyed the economy, wasted wealth, and violated human rights so that the Arab nation, which has a long history, turn into an ideal among nations, attesting to its backwardness in every field, the subordination of its rulers, the lack of independence in its decisions, and the loss of the rights of peoples in all fields.
The Morsi Foundation for Democracy raises a slogan for the Arab world that reads “Democracy First… Democracy is Arab” and disavows this meager scene that does not reflect the will of the peoples of the region and hopes that the Arabs will come together and unite in a climate of justice and freedom represented by elected rulers who respect the law and the will of the peoples.
