Morsi Foundation for Democracy is following events in the Islamic Republic of Iran over the past few days and hours. According to its observers on the ground, the Foundation monitors the field scene in several major cities in different parts of the country, which reflects mostly peaceful and legitimate demonstrations.
The Foundation calls on the Iranian authorities to cease indiscriminate fire on peaceful demonstrators, with the need for guarantees to guarantee the right of expression, and to monitor what is happening on the ground, while emphasizing the legitimacy of the guaranteed right of demonstration and expression.
The Foundation warns of a worsening of the situation as a result of the use of violence against civilians, and stresses that firing live bullets indiscriminately against civilians is a crime punishable by law.
