The Morsi Foundation for Democracy expresses its sincere condolences and solidarity with both the Turkish and Syrian people for the victims of the devastating earthquake that struck the Turkish state of Kahramanmaraş and northern Syria at dawn on Monday, and a number of countries in the eastern Mediterranean region.
The Foundation also calls upon all parties capable of supporting the afflicted to intervene quickly to rescue the stranded, treat and shelter the injured and the homeless.
The Foundation extends its sincere condolences to the families of the victims and the two brotherly Turkish and Syrian peoples in this painful affliction. It also wishes a speedy recovery for the injured in the affected areas, and that the effects of the earthquake will disappear as soon as possible.
